Benchmark tests are developed and administered by the district to measure student progress in achieving the established instructional goals. Teachers use benchmark test results to plan instruction. Benchmarks tests are given at the end of each nine weeks.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Readiness Assessments
Every student entering public prekindergarten and kindergarten must be administered a readiness assessment by the forty-fifth (45th) day of the school year. The assessment will assess each child's early language and literacy development, mathematical thinking, physical well-being, and social-emotional development. The purpose of the assessment is to provide teachers and parents or guardians with information to address the readiness needs of each student.
